Effective Date: July 1, 2021

By participating in any class, workshop, private lesson, social dance, or event organized by Dance with Nikki, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• I understand that dance and physical activity involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, muscle strains, sprains, and other injuries.

• I voluntarily choose to participate and accept these risks.

• I confirm that I am physically able to participate in dance activities.

• I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a healthcare professional if I have concerns about my ability to participate safely.

• I agree to stop participating if I experience pain, dizziness, or any other symptoms that may affect my safety.

• I agree to:

• Follow all instructor directions.

• Wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

• Dance within my personal ability and comfort level.

• Respect the safety and personal boundaries of other participants.

• To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Dance with Nikki, its owner, instructors, assistants, volunteers, and venue partners from claims arising from injuries, accidents, loss, or damage that may occur while participating, except where caused by negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.

• Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings.

• Dance with Nikki is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

• Classes and events may be photographed or recorded for promotional purposes.

• By participating, I acknowledge that my image may appear in photographs or videos used on the Dance with Nikki website, social media channels, and promotional materials.

• If I do not wish to appear in photographs or videos, I will notify Dance with Nikki before the class or event begins. Reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate my request.

• Participants under the age of 18 must have this waiver accepted by a parent or legal guardian.

• By registering for or participating in a Dance with Nikki class, workshop, lesson, or event, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to this Participant Waiver & Release of Liability.
